Our second year competing in Kilmuir Trophy, with us seeing 4th place at judging! The weekend was filled with walking, finding and creating and the group are super proud of what they achieved! Bring on next year!

December 2024

Winter camp was all about chilling out and going back to Scouting basics. It started with a night hike, dropping groups off in an unknown location and figuring the way back to camp, which everyone loved! We then completed a pioneering challenge, and cooked knot bread on the camp fire. It was a great camp, and everyone enjoyed it!

November 2024

Our first 3 night camp! This camp was a triumph, including activities like leap of faith and raft building! It's definitely one to remember, and everyone had a great time. It's also probably the biggest campfire we've had at a camp (so far)!

What a weekend! Our Explorer Hike Camp was an adventure-packed escape to the serene Fairmead Campsite. 

We dove into a weekend of outdoor fun and learning. Cooking over the weekend brought out our inner chefs, while fire lighting skills added a spark of excitement. Saturday night was around the campfire, filled with songs and marshmallow toasting.

Our Ready Steady Cook Night was a whirlwind of creativity and fun as teams competed to create dishes with mystery ingredients.

With ingredients revealed, the race was on! Each team brainstormed, cooked, and plated their unique creations under the clock. The evening had lots of laughter, (some) delicious aromas, and a bit of friendly competition.

Our International Women’s Day Scavenger Hunt was a thrilling adventure filled with excitement and teamwork.

We embarked on a quest to find hidden treasures, solve puzzles, and learn about inspiring women from history. The clues kept everyone on their toes.

Our Wing Chun Night was a fantastic experience with a skilled instructor teaching us an amazing martial art.

From basic stances to advanced techniques, everyone was fully engaged and excited to learn. The instructor’s passion made it easy for all of us to grasp the skills.

What a way to celebrate the season! Our Christmas party was a whirlwind of excitement as we hit the tracks for some go-karting action. Imagine engines roaring, tires screeching, and smiles all around!

From adrenaline junkies to first-time racers, our Scouts showed off their skills and competitive spirit, creating an electrifying atmosphere. But it wasn’t just about speed; it was about the shared thrill and the bonds we share as a troop.
